LADIES!!!!
Good morning to you... Good morning to you... Good morning dear friends... Good morning to you!
I must say that yesterday was a fabulous day for me. I attended a Women's Ministry meeting and Bible Study. God is indeed good and I am elated that He guided my path to His house of praise on yesterday.
I am excited to say that I lost two pounds (after gaining one initially, I lost two total). That puts me at 136... six more pounds and three weeks to go. I can do this! It is totally achievable. I am excited to announce that I am teaching a Soul Grooves (Strip Tease Aerobics) class at the gym tomorrow morning and I am indeed pumped! It has been about a year since I taught.
As for you ladies... how are things? Miss Mone just got her stationary bike earlier in the week... how are things going Nay Nay? I have been in contact with most of you, but I would love to know how each of you are doing reaching your goals.
Come on ladies! We can do this. It won't be easy, but it is worth it!
Courtney's Tip for the Day!
Get Movin'! Cardio... cardio... cardio! Along with eating right (85% in weight loss) the proper cardio is important in burning fat. Cardio is any activity that gets your heart rate up. This could mean running outside... getting on a treadmill...bike....stair climber...eliptical... anything that is going to get your heart rate up.
For first timers who don't have a gym membership... get a Tae Bo DVD or another workout series that you can do all in the comfort of your home.
Shedding the weight is the cake (great!), but toning up is the icing!
