A Response... to Summer

WELCOME MY DEAR!

I am so glad that you FINALLY decided to contribute and I think the addition of beauty tips would be AWESOME!

I will say this... weight loss is all about burning more calories than you intake. The meal plan I posted has worked wonders for me (and others) in doing that. Though you may not want to go about it the same way as the meal plan, please burn more than you stuff into your mouth. Your body will thank you.

Don't be discouraged. This is a journey of growth for us all. If you fall down... pick yourself up. Get focused... just because you are boycotting fast foods/sodas/and other yummy things, you are still getting all those calories from somewhere.

My advice, monitor your caloric intake and do at least an hour of cardio three to five times a week. Keep your calories under 1800 a day (in the meanwhile, figure out your body mass index (bmi- Google it)) give it a week, and I guarantee you will lose about three pounds.

I added this in an earlier post, but I will state it again… a pound of fat is equivalent to 3,500 calories; you can either burn it or gain it! Cutting your caloric intake in half and burning the rest is a true recipe for success! An important part of it is also knowing your AT (anaerobic threshold), that number is the amount of beats per minute your heart is at when you are burning the highest amount of fat (not simply working on endurance). The only way to know this true number is to get and assessment with a trainer and purchase a heart rate monitor. This is a small investment for infinite results!
